I can't figure out if I did something wrong,
I wonder how I could be so naive?
Why do I pretend to be so darn strong?
You were the one I shared my soul with,
Someone I learned to lean on.
My head says you'll be back again,
This distance doesn't mean you're really gone.
Perhaps you just need time to figure your new world out,
But my heart aches quietly for the friendship we had,
I struggle to understand what this silence is about.

Try new friends, but they don't seem to fit.
